About Us

We are a church affiliated with the Inland Empire Southern Baptist Association and the California Southern Baptist Convention.
We recognize that connection with a denomination is not as important as connection with a community that needs Christ.
Therefore, we will serve the Lord as faithfully as we can to minister to a world that needs hope and love and purpose.

PURPOSE, MISSION AND VISION STATEMENTS

Purpose. Why do we exist?

Our purpose is to serve and fellowship with God by giving glory to Him through worship and obedience, by proclaiming the gospel, evangelizing the lost, ministering to the community and the world, discipling the believers, and by growing in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE 3 SHIPs: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship.

Mission: What are we to accomplish?

Our mission is to fulfill God’s will and plan by winning souls for the Kingdom, touching the lives of those in need in the community and beyond, loving and serving those in the body of Christ, and by discipling and building up the believers through the study of God’s Word.

THE 3 EACHs: Preach, Reach, Teach.

Vision: Who has God called us to be?

God has called us to be His children, followers and disciples who have been built on the firm foundation of God’s love and redemption, living sacrifices, a people set apart, a light in darkness, servants and witnesses of the Great Commission, and faithful examples of Christ-like living.

THE 3 EDs: Unified, Energized, Mobilized.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
______________________

What We Believe:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error, and it is our standard of faith and practice.

We believe that there is only one holy God who has revealed himself in the persons of the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• We believe that God the Father is the creator and sustainer of life. He
  is equally all-powerful, all-present, all-knowing and all-loving.

• Jesus was God in the flesh on earth, both fully human and fully divine.
He came to reveal God’s great love through the sacrifice of his life on
the cross. His sacrifice was the atonement for mankind’s sin. He rose
from the dead and sits on the heavenly throne today.

• God continues to reveal himself through the power and presence of the
Holy Spirit today, who convicts us of sin and empowers our life
  through repentance and faith.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but our sin separates us from God until redemption is fulfilled in our lives.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God through personal faith and relationship with Jesus Christ, and it cannot be achieved through works.

THE BIBLE IS TRUE

The words of the great theologian and church father, Martin Luther,
are very appropriate.  He read the Bible and the book of Romans
came alive in his heart.  He understood the meaning of faith and
grace that was necessary for eternal salvation.  He was charged
with heresy by the church leaders of the day.  This is what he
said as he stood before the council before him:

"Here I stand.  I can do no more."

He would not back down.  He would not give in.  We must do
the same today, as we stand strong in our beliefs because we
believe the Bible!

WHERE ARE YOU GOING WHEN YOU DIE?

God has a wonderful plan for all mankind.  It is his will that everyone should be with him in heaven for eternity.  However, he gave every single one of us free choice in this matter.

Do you want to have everlasting life?  Read the following.

EVERYONE HAS SINNED.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 (NASB)

This is true. Everyone has made mistakes. No one is perfect. You have made serious errors in life, you have wronged someone, and you have faults. You are a sinner and, because of your imperfections, you are not able to obey all of God’s commands and purposes in your own strength.

EVERYONE WILL DIE.

“For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23 (NASB)

This is true. Every single person will die. No one lives forever. We are mere mortal human beings whose bodies will someday be lowered into a grave or ashes placed in a crypt. Our hearts will stop beating, and our breath will be no more. That means that we, you and I, will die sometime in the future.

EVERYONE WILL FACE JUDGMENT.

“It is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment.”
Hebrews 9:27 (NASB)

This is true. After death and at God’s appointed hour, we will all face judgment. We will be held accountable for all things thought, said and done. Every motive and every intention will be examined by an awesome and holy God. Because of our sinful nature and God’s hatred of sin, we deserve an eternity apart from his love. Without right relationship with God, we face an eternity in hell.

EVERYONE CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NASB)

This is true. God’s love has provided a way of salvation and deliverance for all mankind from the penalty of sin. The curse and punishment for sin is eternal death, total separation from his blessed presence. However, God allowed his Son, Jesus, to die and pay the full price for our sins. The key to eternal life is faith, believing and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

NO ONE CAN WORK FOR SALVATION.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NASB)

This is true. God’s gift of eternal life cannot be paid for or earned by works. It is completely free of cost, in the material and earthly sense. It is God’s wonderful grace, his undeserved kindness, that provides an eternity with him. However, it is by our faith, our complete trust and abandonment to his ways and purposes, that he allows us to be his children. We become heirs to the kingdom of heaven.

NO ONE CAN TAKE YOUR SALVATION AWAY.

“For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9 (NASB)

This is true. God does not lie. This is God’s guarantee and promise. We are assured of eternal life if we place our hope in the Lord. God’s guarantee is sure and solid. Nobody can break God’s grip on our hearts and lives for his kingdom’s sake. We have a heavenly home that is secure.

COMMITMENT TIME

Where do you stand? What is your relationship with God? There is the old question that has been asked so many times, “If you died today and had to stand before God, and he asks you why should he let you into heaven, what would you say?”

WHAT IS YOUR DECISION?
